ABOUT

BUILT BY IMAGINATION.
BACKED BY EXPERIENCE.

I'm Ethan Stroh, a practical effects designer and fabricator with a passion for bringing cinematic concepts into the real world.

BACKGROUND

A Multidisciplinary Creative

I am a highly versatile and collaborative creative professional with a strong foundation in both visual arts and technical design. My background is defined by a unique blend of formal film training, hands-on architectural experience, and an extensive proficiency in fabrication, digital art, patterning, and engineering software.

While a student, I gained direct exposure to high-level studio production by developing a 12-episode animated show concept for Netflix. This experience helped me hone my storytelling
and content development skills as well as learning to navigate the studio process and develop compelling narratives.

I also participated in a an Artist Residency at Liberty Arts in Durham, North Carolina, collaborating with multidisciplinary artists to expand my professional network and refine my artistic practice in a live workshop environment.

My technical aptitude is reinforced by years of practical experience in the architectural design process. I worked for an architecture firm utilizing AutoCAD to create accurate, detailed blueprints from architectural designs.
